Had the Reuben (amazing!) and the Cajun turkey. They shorted on the avocado a bit but the order was correct and it was delicious 🤤 very clean and friendly service.

My husband and I stopped into Heidi’s Brooklyn Deli on a whim and it ended up being one of the best lunch experiences we’ve had in a long time.

First off, the service here is on another level. The two girls working the counter and making the food (Katrina and Maia? I had to ask!) were genuinely awesome. Super friendly, patient, and made the whole interaction feel warm instead of rushed. You can tell they care about your experience and it makes a huge difference. They checked in, kept the vibe light, and made sure everything came out exactly how we ordered it.

And the food? Ridiculously good. They made my sandwich and it was stacked, super fresh, and honestly tasted like something you’d get from a classic New York deli. It wasn’t overly salty and was perfectly made. Tristan got an Italian Sub and he couldn’t stop talking about how good the bread was and they were so accommodating of changes. Everything tasted fresh, balanced, and way better than your average quick lunch spot.

You can tell the people that work here take pride in their prep. The bread was soft and fresh, the meats were high quality, and the veggies were crisp. Even the bag of chips felt like a nice touch to round out the meal.

It’s rare these days to find a spot where good food and genuinely great customer service show up together, but this place nails it. Huge shoutout to the staff for making it such a good experience, especially Katrina and Maia (again sorry if this is spelt wrong!) for being absolute rockstars behind the counter and for making awesome food!

    Definitely coming back. Highly recommend.

Such a good find! I stopped in for a quick lunch - I got a turkey wrap with basil & tomato bisque & a sweet treat - it was all delicious and made super quick! I read a sign on the wall about family-owned farm sourced ingredients and I love that their integrity hasn’t been compromised amongst tough economical times. Will for sure be back (:

first off, my order choice was something that I don’t particularly go for when I see on a menu. But it I gave it a shot. “The Bronx Bomber” the most delicious sandwich I’ve had in a restaurant ever. This is the first time I’ve been here and won’t be the last. The customer service is great and polite and the music is banger after banger. Nice spots to eat inside and out. 100/10

First, I have only visited this deli once so this might be an off-experience. Overall, we found the food pretty unremarkable. The sandwiches were supposed to be on ciabatta bread, that was confirmed by the server. However, the bread did not look or taste like ciabatta at all (see photos). Moreover, the service was weird. There was only one person taking the order and making the sandwiches while the other person (maybe a trainee?) was just sweeping the place for the one hour we were there. It took about 40 mins to just place the order (there were only 3 people ahead of me) and then, I asked if minor customizations were possible (e.g. no tomato, avocado on the side). I'd have been fine if they said no, but the server assured me it was perfectly fine. However, the sandwiches came out as standard, no changes were incorporated. It was quite disappointing overall I'd say. I hope this was just an off-experience and not a norm.
