  I got Kale caesar salad with tofu and vegan sandwich. And oat cortado. It was great. They have vegan cookies too. Highly recommended for vegans.

  We enjoyed our visit to LB Kitchen, the food was tasty and the staff were so kind and helpful. I love that they had personal recommendations and took time to talk us through our choices. They were so friendly even with the full hustle and bustle of the afternoon rush. The smoothies were excellent! Nice stop on a Sunday afternoon.

  The staff is SO kind here!! Even with the hustle and bustle didn’t mind stopping to recommend which baked goods we should try. Good treats, great cold brew, good vibes!

  My husband and I were staying in Portland just for quick overnight. I have some pretty intense food restrictions, preferences not allergies. We stumbled upon this restaurant and I have to say it is the first restaurant in Maine I can eat at without getting sick or feeling miserable after. They have gluten-free options and they have vegan options and they are willing to modify any way they can. They had smoothies I could drink and pancakes I could enjoy and even something my husband would like. It is a little pricey but you get what you pay for locally sourced whole foods and it's amazing!

  Popped in to LB Kitchen for lunch on a Tuesday afternoon around 12:30. I immediately loved the whole vibe of the restaurant. There is a refrigerated section with grab and go food options along with a well curated drink selection as well as a significant pantry section with healthy snack, treats, protein bars etc. We placed our order at the counter and were able to snag one of only a handful of indoor tables.
  
  I should honestly be removing one star at this point because our salads took a full 30 minutes to come out. Tables that ordered waaaay after us were getting their food but I ended up enjoying my food so much that I don't want to deduct the star.
  
  I had the kale caesar, add jammy egg and sweet potato, dressing on the side and my husband had the LB bowl, add chicken. The bowls are a little on the pricey side especially with the add ons but if I lived in Portland I would be ordering from here all of the time!
