Service was super slow, there were only 2 other tables. My French onion soup was Luke warm, no bread or cheese in it (which was noted on the menu), my friends chowder arrived 15 minutes later, by then my soup was cold and I sent it back. My friend said tge seafood chowder had good flavor but there wasn't much seafood in it, mostly potatoes. The calamari was delicious.
I will never go back. I do not recommend.

For the other positive reviews, City Farmhouse Kitchen and Bar was honestly really underwhelming. There was only one waitress and it was very clearly understaffed. The food was also on the higher end price wise for food that has no other descriptors other than painfully average. The haddock tacos were insanely dry and one would expect a location with their own pizza oven on display to make something worthwhile. But ultimately the pizza only had a nice cheese pull to show for it and nothing else. I will say their pasta are their best options and weren’t half bad. The great design and atmosphere of the restaurant was heavily held back by the food quality.

Was hoping to get a nice lunch, farm to table style. Not at all. Turned out to be your average hotel restaurant, with an OK decor. It took a long time to get our food (had to ask) I got a wedge salad and it was drenched in salad dressing. My husband had a burger that was overcooked and he said McDonald would have been a better choice!! Very disappointed and thought it was expensive for what we got. Had to ask for the check too. Very slow service and seemed overwhelmed.

Very disappointingnWe’ve been here several times and used to slow service butnNot really sure what’s going on at this place.
Supposed to be a higher end restaurant. Or at least they want to be with their prices.
Quality is less than a cheap chain.
Calamari appetizer was small and mostly filled with peppers.
What’s supposed to be an 18 oz ribeye steak is what I was told - ends up being a 1/4 inch piece of not sure what. Asked for Med Rare but that’s obviously not possible when such a small thin piece of meat is served. For $58. Ordered a seared scallop dinner to take home for my partner. As you can see - again less than desirable.
I asked to see a manager and when he came outnI asked if this was acceptable.
He said “ yes and what would I like him to do about it - that’s what it’s supposed to be” totally unconcerned lolnSaid he would take the scallop dinner off the check and take it back - after waiting so long for a meal and to take home another - now I had to go somewhere else and order more food at 8pm. Service is less than adequate, slow, and not very professional. But it’s been that way forever.
Also prices have gone up from what is posted online menus vs actual price charged at location

Food was great - though some may need salt and pepper. On an evening at less than 10% capacity, the service was definitely slower than I would've liked, but the staff were very polite
