Special requests not honored, unfortunately you have to pay extra for this when ordering online (literally a special check box they make for French fry selection) so then a fun part of lunch is deciding if it's worth calling for a refund.

Either pay your staff enough and treat them well enough to care to read orders or, if management is the issue, make a different change.

Also, bacon ordered on hamburgers was limp at best and I would say partly raw, very much not worth it. This place doesn't care.

Oh man where to begin? So I go in for a 30 min lunch break, wait for about 5 minutes listening to the kid with the fedora slowing having a melt down behind the grill because he's got 3 tickets. He kept sighing very loudly making clear he was stressed and flustered. Finally he notices I want to order, and ask if I'm picking up or placing, to which I respond I'm placing a new order, and again can visibly see this frustrates him. I don't think I could have given him a more simple order. 1 chicken Caesar wrap. Well apparently thats the straw that broke the camels back cause he enters full melt down mode, talking bout he needs to walk off and come back and doesn't know how to make a Caesar wrap. I told him it's literally just a Caesar salad in a wrap and went on to explain the 5 ingredients that make a Caesar, but at that point he wasn't really hearing me cause he was too worked up. So he passes my order off to another female and I have to repeat my order again because he didn't just tell her. So After I repeat my self this girl understands what I want and they get started. I walk outside for about five minutes and then come back in to check my wrap and see another younger girl in 20s maybe, has her entire bare hands in the lettuce pans mixing it all around and fluffing it up. So I told her did you really just palm all that lettuce and now your intending on using it for my wrap, and she said yes! I was like ya no way, and she responds by saying she washed her hands. Now theres a few issues with that. How do I know she really did? How do I know she did it properly? How do I know she didn't touch something with pathogens after the fact? And why were the other employees wearing them when handling food but you were not? Anyway after it was all said and done I ran out of time to wait for them to get their crap together so I took the refund and I left. On a side note I grabbed sunglasses for 7.99 and she tried to charge me 9.99. all the glasses are 7.99 if you were unsure of the price, you should have checked, not charged me a $2 I'm too lazy to go look at a price tag fee.

Clean, well stocked, variety is tremendous. Plenty of pumps and it's great to have a non-ethanol pump right in-town. I appreciate the non-food items they carry too if ever in a pinch, for example, a fuel container. $1.49 any size coffee in the afternoon get's me every time!

Waterproof Market & Cafe has an excellent setup. It is a convenience store, gas station, takeout and dine-in restaurant all in one location.
The layout is logical for shopping convenience. You'll find a well-stocked selection of alcoholic beverages including a beer cave. There are also the snack and refreshment beverages. Then you can find household essentials. And there is the food service area with a diverse menu available. When I visited dining in was possible but of course that for the foreseeable future is subject to change due to Covid-19. Parking is ample and access easy enough.

We stop there for gas often as the prices are reasonable for the area. We recently stopped there for a quick breakfast as well and were not disappointed. We got a couple of coffees and breakfast sandwiches and ate them in the little seating area. The sandwiches were as expected, the order was quick, and the seating area was neat and clean. Not a place to go on a date but a quick roadside meal if you are in the area.
