  Been many years, but man I’ll say that early bird sandwich is still just as good as I remembered. I think the dog remembered it too. Was nice to see a small and quaint local quality/community driven business last for as many years as it has and will.. I will be making sure to stop in more often for the Vietnamese cold brew as well.

  After driving by this place everyday for years, I finally stopped in a few weeks ago and was pleasantly surprised.
  As a vegetarian, there aren’t too many places in the area that offer veggie sausage for breakfast, so happy to add another to the roster. The sesame bagel was very good, but I loved the classic Early Bird with bountiful amounts of spinach and fresh onion.
  Cold brew was tasty too. Love the vibe of the shop and selection of fun stickers and jewelry

  Small ,family owned friendly cafe that is a treasure in South Berwick. The food is great as is the owner and staff. They understand what a local cafe should be and execute it wonderfully. Expect to wait for the cooked to order food but it's worth the wait...

  Best place for breakfast or lunch! It’s a must visit every time I come from North Carolina to see my friends and family. Everyone inside is friendly and you might even strike up a conversation with a random stranger and find yourself eating breakfast with them! The Early Bird is quick and very affordable. Next time you’re looking for a day off cooking or just wanting to try a new place the Early Bird is the place to go. It’s really not just some place to get breakfast it’s a whole community.

  I had such a great experience at this café. The food was absolutely delicious and everything was so fresh. I had their fresh blueberry pancakes, which are made from family recipes, and they were amazing. I also tried the “breakfast burrito” that was really tasty. The service was wonderful, I felt right at home. I wish I could come back and try everything on the menu. I definitely recommend the experience!
