  My only issue was the metal chairs for the tables. They are extremely uncomfortable! When we asked for a high top table with wooden back chairs, we were told they were for larger groups of more than 2 people. We were there for 2 hrs and there were always those seats available. So I was uncomfortable the entire time.
  
  The food was great and our server, Mason was excellent!

  This place is a very loud and busy Bar! We had been here about five years ago and really enjoyed the two for One burgers. This time we came on a weekend and were disappointed in the quality of the food. Not only was it served lukewarm, but but you could tell the meat was low quality. If we were to come back, we would just stick to drinks at the bar.

  Amazing service, awesome drinks, I got a custom burger 🍔 definitely on my list of top 5. Medium rare perfectly pink the Goat sauce was top-tier. Ghost pepper cheese was on point. I do wish the burger size was a little bigger but hey more room for that yummy chicken quesadilla!! The atmosphere was so nice brought my lady for a early valentines date! A must try burger bar for any foodie!!!

  If you’re looking for a high-energy, burger-forward spot with personality in downtown Portsmouth, then The GOAT is a strong pick. The mac & cheese is out of this world.Just make sure you are willing to wait. Wait time was over 45 mins on a Tuesday. But the wait was worth it.Super recommended.
