★ 5Pretty much everything here is homemade and made to order, and you can taste it in every bite. We had the pumpkin crumble pancake, the steak and cheese omelet withnsourdough, and the biscuits and gravy, which honestly might be better than most places down South (and that’s saying something).
The bread is baked in house, the tea was freshly brewed that morning, the pancakes were fluffy and clearly made from scratch, and the maple syrup is local. It’s real comfort food done right.
Our waitress Jill was phenomenal. She explained everything so well and set expectations about the wait since everything is made from scratch. She’s a local who clearly loves her job, and it shows. I’d come back just for her.
Totally worth the stop and the wait. A true hidden gem in Tilton. -

★ 4Great food, no wait to be seated. Parking can be a bit difficult to find as it's on main street. Service was relatively good and our meals came quickly. People coming and going constantly means that the inside of the restaurant stays frigid during the winter but that can't be helped.

★ 1We went out for breakfast this morning and quickly noticed that nobody in the dining room seemed to have their food, even after waiting quite a while. Unfortunately, the service wasn’t very welcoming, and after waiting over 30 minutes for our breakfast, we decided to just ask for the check and leave. There were still several tables ahead of us waiting for their food as well.
We ended up going to Wyatt’s Family Restaurant, which was also very busy, but the experience was completely different. Friendly staff, great food, and we had our breakfast in about 7 minutes. Huge difference in how a busy restaurant can still make customers feel taken care of. -

★ 5Was looking for a diner that wasn't a chain. Was in town for a wedding and stumbled upon this place. At first I was skeptical, but after I met Linda, that immediately changed. I was looking to get an omelette, but she recommended the steak, onion, and pepper quiche. Saying it was delicious is a complete understatement. It was so good I came back the next day to order more. I will be visiting Tilton, NH just for this breakfast place.

★ 5Great local place for good local food and drinks. I have been working my way through the different eggs Benedict’s and have not been disappointed. Very clean facility! Good pancakes as well. Staff are great especially Faith and Juli😄
