  If you want to experience the true heartbeat of Jitters Cafe, don’t miss this place.
  
  Every time I visit my best friend’s summer home in Charlestown, we have one non-negotiable tradition: a peaceful morning walk to Jitters. It’s not just about coffee—it’s about the entire experience.
  
  The moment you walk in, you’re greeted by the comforting aroma of fresh coffee and baked goods. There’s always a little chalkboard at the register listing the day’s coffee flavors—simple, charming, and somehow it makes the decision feel more special (and harder!).
  
  The lattes are consistently excellent—rich, smooth, and made just right every time. But what truly sets Jitters apart are the baked goods. Everything is homemade by the owner, and you can taste the difference. The scones are perfectly tender, the croissants flaky and buttery, and the egg sandwiches? Absolutely spot on—fresh, satisfying, and exactly what you want after a morning walk.
  
  And then there’s the atmosphere… this is clearly the gathering spot in town. Locals chatting, summer visitors stopping in, everyone relaxed and happy—it feels like a little slice of coastal Rhode Island life that you instantly become part of.
  
  It’s authentic, it’s welcoming, and it’s consistently delicious.
  
  If you’re anywhere near Charlestown, do yourself a favor—take the walk, grab a latte, and enjoy the moment. This place is a gem.

  Would love to give it more stars because my ice coffee was absolutely amazing as well as my chocolate croissant and my breakfast sandwich. However halfway through my coffee cake muffin i found a hair…that was most definitely not mine as my hair is not red and was very much baked into the muffin.

  I think it’s safe to say the transition from The Bakery to Jitters was successful! As a life long lover of The Bakery, I was both sad and skeptical of the new takeover. However, they’ve done it! The people are lovely, the food is good as ever, especially the sandwiches and cinnamon rolls, the drinks are great too. In the summer you should expect quite a wait, but it’ll be worth it!
  The atmosphere is buzzing and adorable. I love the charming window boxes and little tables outside. You can also pick up Jitters gear and packaged coffee (which I’ll be doing for the holidays!) Happy to have Jitters as a member of the Charlestown community!
  Head next door to the deli and check out the great changes they’ve brought there too!

  The two girls at the counter were very considerate and made sure our coffee was how we would like it before we left. We also had the breakfast wraps with bacon and they were truly amazing. Small but thick. Only thing I could knock was I wish the potatoes were seasoned before creating the wrap. Loved it and will be back when back in town.
  Warning, there was a TON of honey bees wandering out front of the store so we had to run in.

  Play makes the killer cup of ice chai. The cold brew is nice and strong did not have that burnt taste. Pastries were nice and sugary. Staff was totally friendly and on point.
