  I went to this location on Wednesday and it’s safe to say this was the best experience i’ve had in a restaurant for a long time. Me and my friend walked in and were greeted with a smile by the manager who was the sweetest lady. Though out the time of us being here she was nothing but nice and respectful towards me and my friend and even checked on us throughout the time of us eating. The rest of the staff was also amazing including our sever Billy. He was a young man with a great attitude. Through out the time of us being there he was very attentive to me and my friend as well as his other tables he had. We had ordered our food which was two bowls of chili. It came out in only a few minutes hot and fresh and was served perfectly! Later on we ordered our ice cream, a make your own sundae. The make your own sundae was just as good as it was when I was a kid! All in all i’d recommend coming here over and over again without any doubt!!

  Love this place! definitely hold a spot in my heart for newport creamery! not only do i love the ice cream but my Memére always took me here as a child! Coffee frapes and hot dogs bun, toasted and all!❤️

  This has been a family favorite of my family's for DECADES. Whenever we're back in RI, we ALWAYS have to eat here--and always order a coffee Awful Awful with our meals. The staff have always been friendly and the food delicious. It is a good family restaurant and a great place to bring young kids, teens, or your grandparents. :) And affordable.
  Don't get me wrong... If you're looking for a 5-star high end restaurant, this isn't it. But this is a fantastic family restaurant for families of all ages. Think of it better than a Friendly's, on par with Bliss Brothers, and just a good neighborhood place. :) It's by far my favorite. :)

  I only got a to go order, but the server manning the front was lovely and attentive. when I commented that my mints awful awful was a tan color she mentioned that the mint they use is colorless so the chocolate prevails. the food unfortunately left something to be desired. the quesadilla had an abundance of chicken in the middle and none on the sides. the side of mac and cheese was boxed and dry. and the turkey club oscilla something to be desired with the turkey stacked high on two and the other two very little. and to mention, the awful awful was not fully mixed with the ice milk they use and they were ice chips throughout. I gave it one star because I was there for the food. the ambiance in service was very acceptable.

  Haven't been here in decades. Still a wonderful place. People are being a tad eager to put this place down. It's not their fault they can't get the staffing! Blame the president! T.his place has great food... Great staff. They try so hard to please. Just sain guys...a bad review over a cheese sandwich. Just sayin... give the poor staff there credit for all the work they do!!!! This is a genuine review spot. People we are expecting miracles!!!!! Look around! Only the high priced restaurants are fully staffed! I find people are just looking to be frigging pickyoon! I'm sick and tired of nasty people! SERIOUSLY IT'S NEWPORT CREAMERY NOT THE RITZ!!! OHHHH PEOPLE MAKE ME SO ANGRY!
