  Danny’s is a quiet place for a delicious lunch in New Bedford. A family run restaurant specializing in seafood. We always stop in when we are in town. The Kale soup is homemade and delicious. Paired with an order of Steamers it makes a great lunch.

  WOW!!! What a find!! Cannot believe how good this food is. Ordered the clams and scallops combo. Wife had the clam boil. There was so much food weI could not finish it. The clams were cooked to perfection. The scallops were so tender and sweet. The prices are SO good it makes it a no brainer to go here for the BEST seafood around. It is a no frills authenic New England dining experience. Portions are plentiful!! Great drinks, great prices, awesome food and keno...what else do you need??

  What a hidden gem. Literally the best clamboil we ever had. Clams were sooo clean, no grit at all. Family owned restaurant with great prices great service and really great food. Drink prices were reasonable too, which is a nice bonus. We will definitely be back.

  We picked Danny's for the lobster roll. Fish and Chips and Fried Fish were absolutely perfect and the Lobster Roll goes without saying! You can't visit New Bedford Mass without getting a lobster roll at Danny's! Service was friendly....and fast. They opened additional dining room to accommodate the Friday night rush!

  I'm not familiar with New Bedford but had to do an errand there. Came across Danny's and decided to stop for a late lunch. My friend had the baked shrimp and I had the fried clams. They were both excellent. I'm a huge fan of fried clams and order them if they are on the menu. These were crispy, tasty, and not greasy at all. The fries were hot and crispy and portions were huge. I took half mine home. I only wish I lived closer. But I will definitely go back just for the food! How can you go wrong with a restaurant that's been in business for over 50 years. A true testament to the fabulous food and friendly staff.
