  I walked past this restaurant and one of the first things that made me instantly want to check it out, was the smell of the food. I met the owner Ellie and upon walking in she greeted me with a huge smile and offered me a sample of their chicken which was very delicious, legit melted in my mouth. I took home a family sized platter, which included a protein of choice, rice, and a side of vegetables. Good portions of food served as well! I have no complaints at all. They just opened up too and I’m so glad I stopped by. I will be returning for sure!

  Wow wow wow is all I can say! This food is IMPECCABLE! Eli is so vibrant and friendly. She gave me a little back story and what the types of food were. The taste of each bite is like a bomb of flavor with every bite! Not salty, FLAVORFUL! I am unsure if it was her mom but the other woman was so sweet and appreciative. I LOVE PEOPLE WHO HUG! LOL and she hugged me to say thank you. I love the family/friendly vibe they have going on - it made me smile the second I stepped in. This is such a great addition to the community and I hope everyone goes down to try the food - it really is so amazing (& I am a very pick eater) … location is great - plenty of parking & right off the highway if you don’t live in the area.

  Not only is the food delicious, but the staff and owner(?) are so sweet and friendly and personable. I was literally walking by taking a picture to ask my sister if she’d heard of it and the owner comes out to talk to me and treated me like I was family! They told me about the place, showed me their food and their portion sizes, and gave me a free sample of one of the pastels (delicious) and when I came back, I got the fried cornmeal thing…(gufong?) and more pastels. And almost died and went to heaven.
  
  Then I came back AGAIN (I was doing laundry lol) and got the macaroni and some chicken. All of it so good. Honestly, my mouth is watering just thinking about it. I will certainly be back.

  The Grill Basket Express has amazing food, staff and service! I stop by regularly!
