  Horrible experience at Easy street Restaurant. I was in Nantucket on Saturday went for lunch at Easy Street Restaurant. Party of 6pp. It was busy but service took for ever. After I received by bill, I gave my credit card, I did not take notice but I keep thinking in my head that why the lunch was this expensive event though the menu prices is in line what I expected to pay in Nantucket. After reviewing my bill when I got home, I notice there was a 20% service charge added for party of 6pp. Which is fine, the issue is, the server did not point out the service charge to me and I end up tipping additional 25%. I called the restaurant on Sunday and explained that I would expect the server to explain to the guest that service charge is already included. The gentleman I spoke to on the phone, apologized and agreed that the service should have notified me. He takes the last 4 digits of my card and promised to return my $55. Today is Wednesday and that has not been done. Anyone going to this restaurant this summer, please check your bill carefully. This is a bad practice in restaurants that service trying to over charge people without letting them know. Please see attached photo copy of my receipt. I never write negative reviews but this is a zero tolerance for me as a hospitality professional.

  Had great brunch here and love the late nigh snacks. The breakfast egg rolls are sooo good! I love zucchini so I really enjoyed my summer omelette.

  Great location, interior is nice but the food is mediocre and very overpriced. My chicken sandwich was pretty good, very crispy and flavorful but my wife’s burger was very underwhelming. The service was pretty poor. It took our waitress 15 min to get us water and then another 15 min just to get our order. The wait time isn’t what bothered us; it was the fact she offered us to get water and then easily get distracted and talk to the bartender or disappear when the water pitcher was right there. It also took another 20 min for our food to come out.

  We waited over 30 minutes for our two appetizes. Bar was empty and there was only one table with patrons. Staff were more interested in talking amongts themselves and eating. The worst part.. The bathroom smelled like cat urine , so badly I gagged... for a new opening place ?? Bugs, mold, so dirty

  Have been for dinner a few times. Great food, cold drinks and super nice people. All at a nice spot in town. A must visit.
