Had lunch here with my mom. The fried fish sandwich was excellent but it seemed to be under fried because the fish (assume it was cod) fell apart as soon as you looked at it. But it didn’t keep it from tasting good and the salad was excellent. My mom had the waffle and it was very good. Solid and consistent place for breakfast and lunch. Highly recommend!

This is my kind of place. Usually I stay on the southern side of Cape Cod, but business brought me this way and now I have a new favorite spot for breakfast. I got the hearty breakfast, 3 eggs, bacon, sausage link, home fries. All at a more than reasonable price. I also got 1 pancake to try them out and it was good. The food was great, the service was excellent, I never wanted for anything, the atmosphere was of a local place where everyone goes. I left there very happy, not grumpy at all.

A friend recommended Grumpy’s for breakfast. We went for Sunday brunch. Off season on Cape Cod and the place was packed, but our party of two got a table immediately. I really like the rustic interior. I don’t remember our server’s name but he was excellent. The service is definitely casual, which totally fits the place. Very extensive menu for breakfast and lunch. I wish this place was closer to home. My friend got ham and eggs and said it was very good. My normal is eggs Benedict…they have many iterations there of (seafood, spinach, hash, linguica, and meatloaf),but I decided to be a wild man and got the St■ Potato. OMG I am so glad I got it. It was huge and I couldn’t finish it. Plus a side of delicious baked beans. The huge half a potato was st■ with corned beef hash, scrambled eggs, and topped with about a quart of hollandaise. I hope we make the time to go back.

We came here on Memorial Day for lunch. We walked in and were seated promptly at the counter. The interior is what you'd expect from a fisherman themed diner and is a fun vibe. The clam chowder was excellent and my Reuben with pasta salad hit the spot! The cornbread raspberry muffin was a great finish to the meal. Worth a try if you're in the area!

First time at Grumpy’s, it won’t be the last.
My banana split waffle was great, all fresh fruit, bananas, strawberries and pineapple with chunks of walnuts.
My husband loved his steak and cheese omelette with baked beans. Our daughter said her the st■ potato with eggs and hollandaise sauce was fantastic. It was served with a fruit cup, all fresh fruit!
Wait staff was very good also, friendly and not pushy when we weren’t ready to order.
Spacious area. Plenty of room around the tables for the staff to walk around.
