    Horrible location. They do not care about allergies or remedying their mistakes regarding them. They have a whole link dedicated to “caring about allergies” which is a lie.

    I had called in an order, I got a burrito bowl and a chicken quesadilla, two Horchatas and some tortillas. I spent 50 dollars. I had told them explicitly I have a very severe red meat/beef allergy and I do NOT want any meat in my bowl, as I am allergic. I got meat in my bowl and they had closed so I had to get something else that night as I was staying overnight at the hospital with my wife. It’s whatever, mistakes are made, it was unfortunate but I figured I’d get a refund the next day, yet when I called there was no manager in that day, so I decided to call the following day. When I called I asked to speak to a manager and the first thing he said when I told him what happened was “you didn’t check the food?”The food was in a brown bag and sealed, it is not MY job to check the food, it is up to the restaurant that should be servsafe certified to check my food especially when told about the allergy. I was then asked “well why didn’t you call yesterday?” Knowing there was no manager in that day. I did.

    Then I told him I did and I went over what happened and he took my info saying for sure he’ll get back to me the “next day” once he spoke to the manager above him. I waited for about 3 days with no contact until I called again, to which I spoke to a different manager Geydan who said he will speak to toast to get my refund back, and he will call me back the next day, again more than 3 days went by until I had to call back again, to which I was told “oh they didn’t call you” and then I was told he’d get back to me the same day. To this day there hasn’t been a single response past that, I called last on Friday the 5th of December which is when I was supposed to get called back and it is currently the 9th with no response since then. They messed up my order on the 24th of November and there hasn’t been any effort to fix or reach back out since then. It’s been over two weeks. Shameful practice and lack of accountability from a restaurant I was once a huge fan of, I always went to the Anna’s in Davis over El Jefes, however that won’t be the case anymore. At least their competitors don’t ignore allergies, and at least try to fix their mistakes.

    Update: I emailed them and there’s been no response for nearly a week. They’ll put on airs but make no effort to fix anything. Shameful.

    I have been an Anna's fan for 20 years. Today was absolutely one of the worse services I have ever had. I went in right as the open, I go to order steak burrito, and the steak wasnt ready, I asked how long 5 minutes, no big deal. I order a different burrito and they told refried beans weren't ready, they said like 2 minutes, okay I have other stuff to order which I told them and she walks away. At one point in Spanish she says omg, walks away. After another employee comes out idk if she is the manager and she doesnt say anything she just stares at me. So the person continues to make my order and I asked them for queso, they said its not ready 20 minutes after they open. The employee that came out the first time comes out again I look at her and give her a smile and say hi, she says hi back. I am sorry but I think when ur doors open you should be ready to serve anything that is on the menu. And I even tipped 5 dollars. Also I dont know which phone, but a phone kept ringing the whole time I was there, and some of the employees were doing nothing. They could definetly tell i was frustrated, But if someone walks in my store as soon as our doors open we are ready to go

    Absurd customer service. When you walk in there is a giant counter in the shape of a horseshoe, but there’s no indication of where to order, so some people were going left and some people were going right as there were workers helping customers on both sides.
    We went to the right and stood in line. Waited about 5 minutes then we were shooed away that we had to go order on the left side…would have been nice to know 5 minutes sooner.
    I never saw anyone smile or give a the slightest semblance of hospitality. Was like we were bothering them. Food was whatever, but I won’t beg this place to take my money. I think it’s one of those corporate places where they care about the bottom line, since I live in Natick and the reviews for that location are absolutely terrible. I’m sure when it was one or two locations they took pride but now they’re bigger and fallen off. It’s a shame because Boston lacks in authentic Mexican, and if they wanted to stand out they could. I’m in the neighborhood on a weekly basis and I’ll go to your competitors instead. Will be surprised if this place lasts.

    Great food, I want to go to Mexico after this meal. Great mexican bowl, very simple, quick and fast service, they have option to dine in and for take out. Food is fresh, very tastefull and with great aromas. Real mexican food, it deserves every good word for it. Well done!!
    Place is big so its not great atmosphere , at least not at 9pm, its nice and in mexican style. Prices are very low and reasonable. Portion is bigger then regular.

    The food is fresh and delicious. I have eaten a couple of times here or more during the years . My new conquest is the aqua Fresca that is good or fire 🔥, that means the same . The place is always very clean including the bathrooms . It’s near my home and opened late especially compared to other places near my home in Newton. The staff is friendly. The vibe is welcoming. I have eaten inside and have had take out on various occasions. The price is good for value and portion size overall . They have metered parking 🅿️ or a lot close with metered parking 🅿️. Parking is not an issue .
