★ 3Was alright, wanted to like it but the left more to be desired, spent a lot of time on the island and SoCal where Hawaiian food was easy to obtain. Was excited that there was a Hawaiian food spot in MA and trooped over to try it. Had the loco moco, curry chicken and spam musubi. The rice for all the dishes were undercooked making every bite crunchy, spam musubi was alright but could tell it had been sitting around for awhile, everything was under seasoned and lacking that authentic taste that my wife and I were craving. Not a bad spot since Hawaiian food is rare here but wouldn’t go out of our way to get it again.

★ 5This is the ultimate kid friendly restaurant in Metro West. Calling all parents to the epicenter of delicious fresh and fun food! Whether it’s babies eating mango, pre-schoolers shoveling down açaí bowls, or Tetris tots after soccer practice, Mochiko’s friendly vibe and incredibly delicious food always delivers. If you are a mom or dad with kids, this is your new go-to spot for afternoons after school or weekends after activities. Don’t sleep on the breakfast burritos, special sauces, and Poppy’s Panda!

★ 4When it comes to customer service, they truly nailed it. So much so that I’d visit just to have interactions here or watch the others interact with the staff during service. Why? They are truly amazing with the way they interact with just about everyone who steps through the door. Perhaps, that man was the owner? I don’t know and I don’t care. Whoever he is, kudos to him for being awesome.
But my reviews are always going to be based on the food alone. And that alone I write of:nnBeautiful presentation. Arrived fast and furious like I was about to trash this place if it didn’t. Hot and steaming. Screaming for me to partake in delight. Everything about that part was amazing. And I accepted it like my life depended on it. Hoorah!
Now comes the slight issue.
It looked mad good. It smelled mad good. But it wasn’t!?!
The food was bland like Covid has hit my tongue (which it didn’t) and taken away my ability to taste. The pork wasn’t tender and the chicken was absolutely under-seasoned. I don’t know. Why could it be this way?
Then again, the kids totally taking the spots and being “rude” didn’t help either. You don’t need to be in three spots at a time. Usual suspects they say? Whatever. I’m just here for the epic food.
Long story short, food could be even better…just season it well please…. -

★ 4The place is a little crowded but the staff is super friendly. Their fried chicken is really good too! The drinks are delicious.

★ 5Friendly and fast service! Met a friend for a quick boba tea date so we didn’t try the food yet. However, the whole menu makes me want to come back and try especially the fried chicken. The vibe is quirky and retro, blast to past for sure.
