★ 4We are here 3 times while staying at The Marlowe as it was part of the Chase Edit and we had property credits to use.
First day we had breakfast. My husband ordered the Birria hash and I absolutely do not recommend. It was watery, the meat tasted frozen and he only ate a few bites. I ordered the salmon with bagel and cream cheese with a gluten free bagel. It was very good. So much so that I had it the 2nd day, too.
We also ate for dinner on Saturday and took advantage of the $1 oysters. Fresh and delicious, highly recommend. That night we had the scallops with risotto and steak frites (minus the red wine sauce). The scallops were good but the steak was very good. Cooked perfectly with a nice rub. Sunday AM for breakfast I had the lox again, and my husband had the 3 meat omelette which he said was much better than the Birria hash.
The service was very good also, from the reservation system on OpenTable, checking in, and the waitstaff. If you’re staying at the Marlowe it’s a no-brainer to come here for breakfast and later for the oysters. -

★ 5Beautiful inside. Attached to a hotel that’s attached to the mall. I have a dairy allergy so I asked for a recommendation on the menu. My waitress recommended the grilled swordfish because it’s so pretty as well as delicious. I am in love. It has squid ink couscous. But I promise it’s a 10/10 dish. Loved the oyster. First time trying it. Focaccia was good. I also asked for a recommendation on a mocktail. And was pleasantly surprised by another amazing recommendation.

★ 5The oysters looked very small but they tasted so good! I ordered one more dozen!
Not in the picture but the beet salad was super fresh and tasty, the clam chowder was really good. The ribs were perfectly cooked and not too sweet!!!
Our server, Athena, was very attentive and kind.
And they have Austin Hope for red wine in their wine selection. That was impressive!
Overall experience was very pleasant and the food was delicious. -

★ 4Was here for breakfast twice and dinner once (part of my hotel deal). Breakfast was okay. My gripe is that the food did not seem freshly made. Normally you would smell the grill and see oil on the plate but none of this here. I suppose the food was prepared earlier and put under a heating lamp or something. The orange juice tasted better than storebought juice and coffee is La Colombe. Dinner was a lot better but a similar thing with food freshness. I had salmon added to my pasta dish but it didn't taste fresh. My favourite was actually the thick cut french fries which were really large (think double your normal wedge fries) and the harissa aioli complemented it well. Bonus points for having $1 oysters from 5pm-7pm. Service was excellent for both.

★ 5Had an awesome anniversary dinner here when staying at the Kimpton and couldn’t find anywhere around town without a crazy wait (we forgot our anniversary was on a Saturday night, whoops). Ended up being one of the best dinners we had in Boston!
Jessica is the best server we’ve ever had, I hope she gets the recognition she deserves. She gave a ton of great recommendations around the city and was super helpful. She made our whole night.
Not sure if it’s full time or was just for restaurant week, but their house made strawberry frozen yogurt was crazy good. Thanks for a good time and a great meal!
