★ 5Their single origin espresso has been consistently interesting and tasty. Food and pastries are also quite good. Seating is sparse, so it’s a nice surprise if you’re able to get stuff for here on the weekend. Overall great spot!

★ 4We've been meaning to go here for a while after seeing so many 5 star ratings. Finally walked down on a Saturday morning in May and my assessment is....it's fine. It's your standard grab and go sandwich and bakery item location. The coffee was standard, good but nothing amazing. As someone from West Virginia I am always critical when someone offers a biscuit. I had the sausage, egg, and cheese pepper biscuit and it was good, but again, nothing amazing. The biscuit was too crumbly for me, personally. The flavor was good but I hate it when a biscuit falls apart as you eat it.

★ 5This is probably my favorite place in Somerville. The staff is always incredibly nice. The food is always freshly prepared and tastes amazing. Strawberry jam bars, blueberry scones, apple cider muffins, AND MOLASSES COOKIES (when available) are great. Can't go wrong with an egg, cheese & sausage pepper biscuit.

★ 3I never really get to come here due to the hours not aligning with my job, but I always hear great things! The first time, I tried a pumpkin spice iced coffee and a donut muffin, both of which were great.
The second time, I decide to order my usual drink, matcha. I knew as soon as they called my name, I knew that the matcha would not be good. The color was not nearly vibrant enough, and all I can taste is oatmilk. I’m disappointed at the quality of the drink considering the cost, but I also understand that coffee forward places do not usually excel at other drinks (esp matcha). I would warn matcha connoisseurs to avoid fig’s matcha and either order something else, or order somewhere else. I’ll likely still return, but definitely not for anything other than muffins and/or coffee sadly. -

★ 3This review is about my disappointment with the ricotta toast (pictured). There is barely any ricotta on this. It’s 95% bread. Not at all like it’s depicted on the menu.
