5 stars all around. This was a very innovative menu for both food and drink. Premium craft cocktails paired with unique dishes. The chicken is king though. A great sandwich and dippers. The mixed drinks were insane as well. Good twists on the classics. I look forward to coming back for date night with my wife.

Absolutely loved this place. To start my bartender, Bobby, was one of the best I have ever gad the pleasure to deal with. Warm, friendly, attentive. Overall made this experience what it was. Fun lively atmosphere with outdoor, indoor and var seating. Drinks were tasty. Piri piri margarita had a nice hit of hit. Spicy Calabrian caesar salad was great. It was definitely a little overdressed for my liking but still had great crunch and flavor. Would absolutely order again but would ask for less dressing. The dunks and sauces. Were great. Chicken had a nice crunch and was juicy. Glad you can order in small portions because these are craveable and could easily just keep eating them if they were in front of you. Only disappointment was the mac and cheese. It had a nice crunch on top but was rather bland. In all fairness I was told it wasn’t one of the best items on their menu but I wanted to taste it. The warm toffee cake was surprisingly amazing. Delicious sauce, tender cake and creamy ice cream. I expected I would like this restaurant but was surprised at how much I liked it. Highly recommend.

Wandering around South Boston, we came across this spot and decided to walk in because the decor felt classy and inviting. Even without a reservation on a Thursday, we were seated right away. Service was genuinely warm and attentive (shout-out to Tanya!) Drinks were solid too. I loved my dirty martini, and my partner said his chai negroni was a good negroni overall, though the chai didn’t really come through or add much to the flavor.

But the food absolutely stole the show. The shrimp linguini was insanely flavorful, and the smash burger was perfection, juicy, soft patty, total nom nom moment. Would happily come back just for that burger alone.

And finally, ended the night on a sweet note - a chocolate chip cookie with two decaf espressos!
Minor suggestion here: would have appreciated a warmed up cookie (just to taste that molten chocolate)nnVery reasonable prices for Boston!! Cocktails are ~15, entrees all mid 20s!

I loved the atmosphere of this place. It is cozy & very cute for a date. I was coming to the shy bird to have the cesar salad wrap, but I wasn’t aware it was only a lunchtime thing. My soon to be husband got pork parmesan which he said was OK, which I tried and it was eh. The flavor was kind of funky. I ended up getting the chipotle smash burger with some fries though. It was good, & now I am full and ready for dessert now somewhere else tonight.
    Thanks Shy Bird!!

Love this place!! From the moment we sat down, Grace set the perfect vibe– Purva, our server, was super attentive and walked us through the menu like a pro. Everything he recommended? Absolutely fab!

Shoutout to Leo, who poured us the city’s finest water.

We tried a spicy espresso martini and a hot & dirty gin, and wow… Stephen & Jack absolutely nailed them. Better than I even imagined! 🍸nnThe manager Jo was super nice, stopped by to check on us, and was so friendly and chatty.

Overall, every single person made our brunch feel special. Can’t wait to come back!
