  This is a an old school diner like you see in the really old movies. The food is honest, homestyle cooking and was great! The prices were very reasonable and the service was outstanding. Our waitress Monica was delightful and attentive.

  We travel all over the world and have our favorite spots everywhere we go. Some are fancy, some are because of the incredible food, some have great views, but the tasty diner is one of my favorites. I’ve been coming here since 2011 as a patient at the NIH. And while I was going through some very hard treatments that continued for more than 13 years, the tasty diner has become a place of nostalgic memories. Their food is great, it is old school and simple but done right.
  
  They used to be open all night, so were the only place I could go after treatments, and procedures but they were always friendly and made me feel like I was in a small town diner. The kitchen is right beside the tables and the conversations were always entertaining.
  
  I just love this humble place in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the high end Bethesda area.

  All you could wish for in a diner and more! A very authentic all-American diner experience, nothing more, nothing less. Eggs, pancakes, waffles 🧇 what more could you want. The staff wont let your coffee cup go empty and mean business. There’s definitely a slew of regular eaters there as well. Can’t go wrong.

  This is the quintessential diner experience! The food is authentic. Loved the home fries with gravy! The cabbage side was awesome as well! There is a reason this place has been here for so long!

  This place doesn't disappoint! Best food I've had in the last 1 week. Better than some of the restaurants in the area too!!
