★ 1I was really excited to bring my daughter to Hanger 12 in Mansfield to try for the first time so she could see the airplanes. The hostess was absolutely lovely, friendly, and super accommodating. In addition, there was a lovely older gentleman who held the door for us and was so kind and friendly to my daughter. Unfortunately, our overall experience was very disappointing. As someone who has worked in the restaurant industry for over 15 years, I understand how demanding serving can be, and I always try to remain respectful and patient. However, the service we received was unacceptable, especially considering the restaurant was not busy at the time. We waited a very long time just to have our order taken, and because my toddler couldn’t sit much longer, I ended up not even touching my meal. I had ordered cheese on my eggs, but it was forgotten, and despite my husband trying multiple times to get our server’s attention while I stepped outside with our daughter, she never came over to check on us, correct the order, ask how everything was, or even offer a to-go box. What made the situation more upsetting was watching our server sitting and eating with the cook while we were clearly trying to get assistance. In this industry, you never send food back or openly complain, nor should you ignore your tables. I hate leaving negative reviews as this was not the restaraunts fault , but management needs to be aware of who works for them. This experience truly left us feeling ignored and unwelcome. Sadly, I don’t think we’ll be returning as it was not a family friendly place that supported our needs.

★ 5You would never know this place existed as it is inside the Mansfield Municipal Airport hangar, how fun! Breakfast is the way to go here but lunch is good too. The Crystal Cloud French Toast and Magical Pancakes are both delicious. The homemade corned beef hash is hearty and yummy. Service is friendly and efficient. A bonus of this experience is that you can watch small planes taking off and landing. There are not many places that come with such unique entertainment.

★ 3Neat place inside the little airport, so you wouldn’t know it exists if you drove by quickly. Cute decor with some airplanes hanging.
Good menu w/ variety. Good coffee. We had the corn beef skillet- which was absolutely delicious;nnHowever, the biscuits and gravy- was a No. The biscuits were clearly very visibly burnt-(all 3 were completely black on one side) the gravy was like canned gravy, no sausage in it, very bland, just white gravy and burnt biscuits … & multiple waitress’ saw my plate, and never once was asked if all was good; wasn’t asked to redo, wasn’t ask if I wanted something else, wasn’t even asked to take home.... so was fully charged for a plate that was burnt and wasn’t eaten. -

★ 5I’m biased. I’m in the aviation business so any time I get a chance I try to go to an airport restaurant.
FRESH fruit and cooked to order everything else. This place is off the charts. The grass is open, so bring your squadron of tail draggers. Park in the grass and walk right over.
Very kid friendly. This is a great neighborhood breakfast spot.
It’s also right off the bike path. If you drive there is plenty of parking. There is an over hang in case of foul weather for drop offs and pickups.
Huge clean bathrooms very wheelchair friendly.
Sometimes you even see the Boston Medflight helicopters taking off and landing.
Very cool place to eat.
I love hangar 12. -

★ 4Quaint place to have breakfast and the place was busy. Portions were a good size. There is indoor and outdoor seating, and you can watch the small planes take off and land.
The eggs Benedict dish was great -poached eggs were perfect- and there was a nice sized piece of ham below the eggs. Side of bacon was delicious- good flavor and crisp without being overcooked. Hash browns were over peppered and not crisped.
The omelet was dry, and so was the toast. The eggs of the omelet were overcooked, and there was a single pat of butter between two slices of toast. Leaving the rest of the toast extremely dry. The home fries was great.
Server was having a tough day, but was doing her best. Overall, a solid 4 out of 5.
