★ 5In from out of town, ended up at the Sunnyside Cafe from a Google search. Couldn’t have been happier.
Food and service were great! Loved the breakfast potatoes.n(and I can’t remember the last time I ate at a diner that had coffee mugs with ads on them) -

★ 5This place is a gem. Diners like this are hard to find these days. I got a bacon egg and cheese breakfast sandwich on a grilled English muffin and it was absolutely phenomenal. Home fries were delicious. Also the eggs Benedict is fantastic. You’d be happy with anything you would order on the menu. The owner john was awesome. He came out to talk to us after we asked about the mugs that the coffee’s served in. Turns out you can purchase them. Overall I highly recommend checking it out if you’re in the area.

★ 5This has become my regular spot over the last couple of years or so. I have seen nice improvements since the new owners recently took over. I love the diverse customer base. And the way they treat all of their customers. The entire staff including the cooks, bus people, and waitresses say hello. The menu has a wide range of breakfast and lunch items. If youre in the area I recommend you try them at least once.

★ 5our visit was amazing we were a group of 7 people on Sunday 4/26/2026 we walked in less than 30mins before closing, the staff still welcomed us to be seated, all our food was very good, the staff were very very pleasant, the cafe is very clean. I was very proud I took my 7 out of town friends there for breakfast. September a lot more of my friends from out of town will be visiting me, I will be bringing them there for breakfast also.
I give Sunnyside 5 stars, with 5 thumbs up.np.s. it also helps that I only live 10mins. away from the Cafe which is a major plus. -

★ 5Based on a reliable source it was suggested we try out the prior Friendly’s location that is now under new ownership. Although it is 25 minutes away, it is worth every mile and we’ll be making a habit of the trip. Staff are friendly, food is wonderful and we all came away with big smiles and full tummies. Our table had everything from eggs benny, scrambled eggs, hash omelette, bacon, hash browns, home fries, French toast and a pancake. You can see the chefs cooking away and as soon as your order is up, it’s brought to your table fresh and hot. Coffee comes in those big mugs that hold the heat and remind me of my younger years going to the Pancake King with my parents on a Sunday. Looking forward to our next visit.
