★ 1BEWARE! I came upon this shop by accident and being in culinary I’m always ready for good bagels. I bought a dozen bagels and 7 - 1/2lb cream cheeses to take home. As soon as I got home I went to dig in and 2 of my containers of cream cheese were rotten. First issue is open cream cheese only has a 7 day shelf life once it’s repackaged. It’s an RTE(Ready to eat). I won’t go back! I get it that mistakes happen but we rely on you the establishment to follow health safety so your patrons don’t get sick! So even the date on the ones I bought are not within health codes. That’s even worse! The date should be 7 days counting from the day they are mixed and packed. Let’s say it’s packed today the 8th your expiration date should be no more than the 14th. But you have the 20th on what’s in your case right now. No worries I can do math. So the ones you have packaged for the 20th are already against the health code labeling. Like I said you have 7 days to sell an RTE so today is the 8th so how do you get to December 20th! My date would have been the 13th since I bought it on the 7th. It’s simplennAlso I would have said “my deepest apologies and yes, mistakes do happen. I will go over all safety standards with my staff just to ensure everyone is safe but I trust them to always improve.” Then you need to take serve safe! No one owes you anything we are paying for all of your work and workers! But you owe your customers, without them you couldn’t be your own boss! You don’t have to kiss butts but a liar, I am not! I called and spoke to a young woman and asked for a manager to keep this respectful but your staff refused. Maybe next time it will stay with the manager and not be on Google!

★ 2Went to a different best bagels and decided to try this one. Parking was a non starter it's really terrible. That might be somewhat of a timing issue but there's not much parking. There were a lot of people standing around so I'm guessing there were some larger orders backing things up. I ordered a couple of bagels one egg toasted with butter and a jalapeno toasted with veggie cream cheese.
The egg bagel came burnt and the butter wasn't fully melted. In the end it wasn't terrible but the char made it less than perfect. It was soft on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Not much of a crunch to it. But good flavor.
The jalapeno bagel was similar with an overall soft feel and nice and fluffy. Not very dense easy to eat. Decent ratio of cream cheese to bagel and it didn't fall apart. Good flavor and this one was well toasted not burnt.
Tables are somewhat beat up and it wasn't super comfortable but not a terrible place to sit and eat. Prices are good. Service seemed pleasant and quick. I don't think I'd go back but it's probably better than I experienced.
Not sure if this is just an off day or -

★ 5My spoon rating 🥄🥄🥄🥄nI normally travel a lot and this time I visited Georgetown for my friend and he recommend this place to grab quick breakfast and It was amazing! I didn’t really expect much but egg&sausage with cheese in jalapeño bagel was chef’s kiss💋nIt is cheap, easy to grab and go, nice portion size and tasty what can I say more! It is nothing fancy but you can find all sort of bagel and filling from savory to sweet. I hope I can try more flavor next time! ✌️
