Mother’s Day brunch at Sabrina’s Café with my beautiful daughter 💕 We made sure to get there early because if you know anything about this neighborhood gem, you know they don’t take reservations.

This wasn’t my first time at Sabrina’s, so I already knew the service would probably be a little different with the Mother’s Day rush — and understandably so. Overall, the food was still good!

We started with their Blueberry Lavender Lemonade, made with blueberry and lavender, then garnished with fresh blueberries and lemon. It was so refreshing and honestly one of my favorite parts of the meal.

For our entrées, I ordered the Shrimp & Grits and added salmon, while my daughter got the Teriyaki Salmon Bowl. For appetizers, we tried one of their “Heated Rivalry” May specials: Shane Hollander’s Jambalaya Benedict. It came with shredded potato waffles, two poached eggs, fried shrimp, Creole sauce, smoked beef andouille sausage, pico de gallo, and green onions.

Now listen… it looked AMAZING on the menu and had so much potential, but the taste was a little underwhelming for me. The dish came out room temperature, almost like it had been sitting for a while, and I really think it would’ve hit differently if it had been served hot — especially the potato waffles.

Still, I understand they were extremely busy and trying to accommodate everyone during the holiday rush. Sabrina’s is definitely still a local favorite that I’ll continue to support.

Overall rating for this visit: 8/10 ✨

I moved here recently and really wanted to try this place. This was my first visit. It was a bit hard to find, but I was determined.
I was seated promptly, and greeted cheerfully by Addy. She told me the specials, and answered all my questions about the menu choices. I started with the dolce de leche coffee which Addy recommended. She was right. Great choice! Topped with whipped cream and a caramel drizzle 😋nI decided to get one of the specials - the taco bowl. It tasted fresh and delicious, with seasoned ground beef and chunks of avocado.
Martha, the manager, stopped by my table to say hi and make sure that everything was fine. (It was😊) I think it's nice to see a manager who proactively cares about customers.
I truly enjoyed my meal. I will definitely be coming back. Bon appetit!

This was out 2nd visit. We went today on Valentines. We had a wait but it went pretty fast. Food and service was great just like the first. Portions are a nice size and you definitely leave full.

Love love love this restaurant they are vibrant attentive and inclusive. The space feels like you’re eating in the comfort of friends and family. I ordered a pumpkin spice latte which they made extra pretty for me (it’s the little things) 🥰 and the huevos ranchos which were absolutely delicious. We even asked for coloring pages and they happily obliged. Go with a friend you’ll always be treated so well!

We went there on Sunday and it was very crowded. We got in line 1 hr before, so we waited an hour for the table as we were a party of 10 people.

Food is amazing and portion sizes are massive, I would say. We were filled beyond capacity and we did order st■ French toast and banana pudding for the table and everyone liked that.
For milk alternatives they didn’t have much options. So I did the cinnamon chai tea latte and it was a bit too sweet for my taste.
But the Vegan Philly cheesesteak was amazing, a bit salty though but freakishly amazing!

Washrooms were clean and servers were nice and polite, in a hurry though.
Parking is somewhat hard to find- as there’s street parking. So we parked couple blocks away.

Overall a nice experience and would the vibes. Not many vegan options though. But I loved the cheesesteak!
