★ 5Beautiful experience, it is an historic farm. Everything from produce, fresh pasta, plants and very cute garden decor. Baked goods are worth a try.

★ 5Flower picking at Verrill Farm is such a fun and adventurous experience under the sun surrounded by beautiful wildflowers! My fiancé and I had a romantic time together in the fields — it felt peaceful and joyful. The flowers are very reasonably priced and last for many days. We also attended the pancake breakfast event a different day under the tent, and it was absolutely delicious! It was so nice to see families with children enjoying the morning and the live music added such a warm touch. Highly recommended for a perfect weekend outing!

★ 1I was really looking forward to visiting this farm and supporting a local business, but unfortunately my experience trying to get basic information was disappointing.
I called ahead because we are driving a significant distance and just needed a clearer idea of when strawberry picking would likely be available. The first staff member I spoke with was unable to provide details and directed me to social media, which I totally understood but do not have.
I then politely asked if I could speak with someone more familiar with the schedule, just to see if there was any general timeframe available. When the manager came on the line, I felt the interaction was quite abrupt. I tried to explain our situation, but I was told again to check social media before I could fully ask my question. I politely tried to say 'oh I'm still talking' just so I could explain I don't have social media and she totally ignored me and kept going stating the first person I spoke with had the information I needed (?)nnI just wanted to know if they thought strawberries would be available June 1st. I completely understand that farm schedules can be weather-dependent and change quickly. Clearer communication and a bit more patience would have been very helpful, especially for customers traveling from farther away. I was simply trying to plan a visit and support the farm.
Hopefully this feedback helps improve customer communication going forward. -

★ 5We popped in on our way to Mahoney's Garden Center. Looked really big on the outside. They had a deli so hubby and I split a grilled cheese. It was AMAZING. Best grilled cheese on the planet. Hubby and I have a date in 1 month to go back for another grilled cheese because it was so good. They also had some gorgeous desserts, but we decided not to get any as we already had dinner reservations, but definitely next time. Everyone there was super friendly. Bathrooms were clean. Food prices were comparable to a regular grocery store but definitely not as big as selection. Definitely worth a visit.

★ 5LOVE this place. Unfortunately I missed today's asparagus but got a pound of the most bright green beautiful fiddleheads I've ever seen. Gonna go great with dinner
