★ 5If you like classic diners? They dont get more classic than this! Built in 1939, The Yankee Diner moved around Massachusetts a bit through the 40s and 50s and now resides in Charlton, Massachusetts and is under the ownership of the fabulous Phuong and her husband! Great menu amd great coffee and great people. A+

★ 5Just want to drop a note about this very charming local diner called the Yankee diner 2025. We had relatives in Worcester to visit and we’re looking for a diner on the way back. The Worcester diners were all pretty busy, but luckily we located this between Worcester and Connecticut, and we were not disappointed! Had a great comfort food breakfast sunny side up eggs were terrific right toast home fries eggs Florentine well done bacon. The server actually asked how we wanted our bacon cooked, which I haven’t heard in a long time and I really appreciated the attentiveness. The coffee was top notch free refills offered with a friendly smile. The building itself is very friendly and bright with a nice countertop to eat at and maybe a half a dozen booze. No waiting either which was a great feature. Please note that this is cash only which was OK because the prices were fairly reasonable and we had enough on us. Lol. We will definitely be back and I suggest other travelers given a try.

★ 5First time here having driven by it for years. The new owners were friendly and stopped to check on us and make sure everything was OK. The food was very good. We had our usual breakfast, scrambled eggs, toast, home fries and a breakfast sandwich of egg, cheese and bacon on a bulky roll. All were delicious. The coffee was good, too. The server checked up often to top it off for us. We will definitely be back.
UPDATE: We went for breakfast today, almost a year later. The owner welcomed us back with a friendly greeting. Not only did she remember us, she remembered our order. We'll certainly return, sooner than later! The food was delicious and the atmosphere warm and friendly. -

★ 5The most amazing diner ever! The vibe was so classic, food was delicious, and we were greeted by the most friendly, most kind lady. If you are passing by, it’s a must go!
We got crab cake omelette, french toast, bottomless coffee and a muffin to-go - so yummy! -

★ 5Small place, BIG on taste!! Not fancy, just good home cooking. We had a very scrumptious breakfast at lunchtime. Large portions. Be aware that they serve only off the breakfast menu on Sundays. Pleasant and friendly wait staff. 4 adults for $55.
