We visited with a group and got a little bit of everything, Including the desserts. Every single dish had its own unique, incredible flavor. You can really taste the love and care put into this food. It felt so wholesome and comforting. While the kitchen took a little time to get the food out, it was absolutely worth the wait because everything was served perfectly. Definitely recommend, and we already can't wait to come back for brunch!

This restaurant is an absolute gem. Sitting at the counter feels warm and personal, like enjoying a meal in a friend’s kitchen. The owners and their family are incredibly kind and welcoming, which makes the experience even more special. The food is comforting and full of flavor—the shrimp po’ boy was outstanding, and the fried chicken with gravy was rich, crispy, and satisfying. The cozy atmosphere and genuine hospitality make this place stand out. It’s wonderful to have authentic soul food like this in town. I can’t recommend this spot enough and will definitely be back.

Oh man, finding southern food in Hawaii that is GOOD, what a treat. I would put the food here against anything I ate my whole life growing up in GA.

This will be a regular stop for me now, super friendly, decently priced and the food is absolutely amazing.

Parking is a bit of a pain, be sure to read signs and park in the right spots

3.5 - Service was welcoming and personable. We mightve had high expectations knowing the owner is from Alabama. The price point is kind of on the high end for the portion size, but that's understandable for this type of food in Oahu. Catfish, chicken and shrimp had great texture and flavor. Ribs were tender. Collards and yams were A1! Cabbage and Mac is where our expectations messed us up..just one note and overshadowed by everything else. Almost as if a different establishment made it compared to the other food. Still recommend coming!

Absolutely loved my experience! Who’s moms or pops or aunty or unko taught them how to cook?! Heh Been meaning to hit this place up for a minute n happy I did! I had the chicken biscuits n gravy n sweet tea of the brunch menu! The chicken was very moist n tender yet still crispy. The biscuit was moist n not hard but still had a nice bite n chew. The gravy was everything w a side of Louisiana hot sauce. The texture n consistency of gravy was perfect for me. The sweet tea was the best I ever had on island. Aunty told me I could have refills n didn’t know that at first cuz I was just sippin to savor each sip.

One thing ima do is satisfy my food cravings and southern love did exactly that.

Yes there’s limited stalls but I’m not knockin off stars for that cuz this a review for food n service.

Service was unpretentious, chill, engaging, prompt, and sweet. Indoor n outdoor seating. Indoor seating is smaller n intimate. I love it.

Mahalo nui loa Chef for the amazing soulful food! Excited to go back!
