  Stopped by Church Street Café and it ended up being one of the highlights of our visit to Old Town Albuquerque. We tried the Navajo bread taco, enchiladas, and the chili con queso — everything was absolutely amazing. The flavors were rich and comforting, and the portions were generous. On top of that, the café is set inside a beautiful historic building, which made the whole experience feel even more special. So glad we decided to stop in while exploring Old Town. A perfect blend of great food and local history.

  We loved it! Great authentic New Mexican food. We got the Trio off the appetizer options. The Carne Adovada Al Horno, and the Combination Plate and shared family style. The portions are large and easily shareable. Loved this spot in Old Town

  What a wonderful surprise! The food is outstanding and don’t be fooled by the tiny entrance. This place is massive. Live band playing beautiful music. Our waiter was really cool and nice! He Recommended the Navajo taco which was the highlight of the meal.

  This cafe was recommended by a local and it did not disappoint. The food was fresh and delicious and the service was very good. I do have to say that the highlight was the interesting decore and atmosphere. Recommend for a quick taste of New Mexico.

  Don’t let the entrance fool you - the place is really huge inside! There was a 20min wait on a Friday afternoon. It’s in the middle of Old Town plaza so it’s a bit of a tourist trap. The court yard inside and the decor is really beautiful. However, the laughs and giggles stopped there when it came to the food. We got the traditional chile rellano and southwestern barbecue chicken salad. The food was stale, the salad on the rellano entree tasted off and the whole entree felt like it was heated in a microwave. The chile rellano was almost cold and seemed to have been prepared a while ago and just reheated. The bbq salad was okay but the chicken pieces in it were overcooked and chewy. I wanted to try new mexican cuisine but the food was damn terrible. The server also forgot to give spinach in the entree and we had to chase him for that to be changed. I would not recommend this place to anyone. This is probably among the worst bites of food I’ve had. I had to leave almost all of entree as it was so bad.
