  Award winning for a reason! I’ve been looking for some great duck dishes here, and finding it for breakfast was such a pleasant surprise.
  After ordering the Duck Hash and the Biscuits and Chorizo Gravy, we took our seats in the dining room which was plentiful and roomy, with an option for outside seating too.
  We got our iced lattes in frosted glasses before the food and they don’t have the classic sugar free syrups, but I was offered a sugar free maple that was perfect with the oat milk.
  The dining room was bustling with conversations and the background vocals of the tvs all around.
  The duck in the hash was melt in your mouth and was clearly well seasoned. The soft scrambled eggs were made perfectly, and juxtaposed the texture of the Brussels sprouts and double cooked potatoes housed underneath.
  The chorizo in the B&G didn’t add any excess fattiness to the gravy, and the Southwest spin on this dish was accentuated with avocado and queso fresco that nodded to my classic Mexican breakfasts growing up. And the added runny poached egg was a great surprise.
  Cannot wait to have more award winning food in this cozy eatery nuzzled in the University area.

  This place is truly excellent! The food is incredible and the portion sizes are huge. The staff were all nice and the food came out very quickly. They have a no sitting before ordering policy which makes the table turnover really quick. We stopped here for our last meal while visiting Albuquerque and I’m so glad we did!

  The brunch at The Shop Breakfast and Lunch was absolutely to die for! We ate around 11:00 AM and I was still st￭ until 4:00 PM…. Talk about bang for your buck. The portions were generous, everything was incredibly fresh, and the flavors were spot on. On top of that, the aesthetic was beautiful and made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend if you’re looking for amazing food, great value, and a lovely atmosphere!

  Traveling from Texas to Arizona and heard of this local cafe. We just had the most amazing meal ever! We were blown away with the incredible flavors! The freshest of fresh squeezed orange juice! The environment was cool and eclectic. Would recommend and almost demand that anyone going near it to stop and try it!! ☺️ You will be impressed!
