★ 5Had not been here in a few years and remembered why it’s soooo good. The lemon ricotta pancakes are for sure the best in the city. It was the perfect menu item to share at the table for any time of day. The patio was great because we could still be outside and it’s covered and had heaters. Jax our server was so sweet and took awesome care of us. Also got the corned beef hash and highly recommend. I can’t wait to go back and get the matzo ball soup. Great OTR food spot 👌

★ 5Went in to get out of the cold before an appointment. Coffee was amazing and fresh, the Maza ball soup was full of flavor and hot! Topped off with an almond butter cake which was light and delicious, sweet, but not too sweet and the raspberry puree was a nice touch. Everything was simple and perfect 👌 The atmosphere was nice old school jams, and the service was spot on. It was an unexpected yet nice self-date 😌 I look forward to coming back and trying other items on the menu!

★ 4Great service, and food came out quick! Wonderful location. The soft scrambled eggs and maple glazed pork belly were delicious. My only critique would be that there is someone much Ricotta in the pancake that the texture feels undercooked. Drinks were lovely!

★ 4Very nice atmosphere, but a little too loud for conversation. Disappointed with the lack of vegan options. Surprisingly, my side salad was fantastic and very flavorful. The potato tots were nice was well, and I enjoyed the kimchi ketchup. The fruit lemonade options were fun and delicious, I chose blackberry! Staff were very kind when I asked about vegan options. A little too pricy for me and my friend, but I can see why this place is very busy on the weekends.

★ 2I had really high expectations based on other reviews and I walked away really disappointed in both the service and the food. I made reservations two months prior and ended up with the table by the door that kept getting buffeted with winter gales every 90 seconds. This squeaky door constantly opening combined with incredibly loud music (loved the music choice) made it very hard to have a conversation. Our waitress just laughed off the complaint when asking her if she thought it was a comfortable way to eat. After waiting an hour to get our entrees, we were greeted with a dry mahi mahi on soggy bread and greasy fryer basket rice plus chicken chunks. Once again, our waitress did not offer a solution to the problems presented. As mentioned, I was very excited to go and ended up with one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a very long time.
