  This is going to be a weird review. Some will understand, others won’t. Jimmy’s Egg is a perfectly fine breakfast restaurant. The menu is very varied with a bunch of choices that aren’t readily available elsewhere. The food is prepared well. There is a huge selection of “sides” to go with your breakfast entree. The service is awesome (Thanks Traci!) and the coffee refilled very frequently. The problem: it’s almost too perfect, too orderly, too refined, too “uniform”. I think I prefer a diner where the plate is not perfectly arranged with the sides all neat in ramekins. Where there are “characters” coming and going and there is more activity. That’s the best I can do. I enjoy it but not as much as I enjoy a place with a very different vibe!

  Our server was kind and the food came out fast! Delicious breakfast! We will be back on our next Albany trip!

  The food was great! Our server Tracy was phenomenal, courteous, professional, and personable. I enjoyed my combo meal for a reasonable 14$. The price was exquisite and I left full and happy. I enjoyed the atmosphere and the light ambiance of 80s music playing in the background.

  My family and I come here weekly.. we can’t get enough! The food is always good and the service is always fast and friendly. Great place to go with kids. All of the servers are great but Traci really goes above and beyond each time. We love walking in and seeing her smiling face. I really recommend this place.. ask for Traci! :)
