★ 5Love the NYC vibe in this place all the way down to the music. Solid food that is fairly priced. Always enjoy sitting outside when the weather is nice. In our most recent visit, one of the dishes we ordered did not come out as expected. Alec went above and beyond to make things right. Top notch service, could not ask for more. We are looking forward to going back again. Highly recommended!

★ 5We stopped in for breakfast at Bodega, and it was the perfect way to start our day before heading to the beach. I ordered The Cow and hands down — it’s the best breakfast sammie I’ve had outside of a Long Island deli. Paired it with a caramel and vanilla latte that was just as good. My wife had the Bodega Platter with a Samoa’ That latte, and everything was spot on.
The team was incredibly kind and helpful, creating a laid-back atmosphere filled with families and well-behaved dogs. It felt like the kind of place you want to hang out for a while.
On a marketing side note — their branding is awesome. As someone who works in marketing, I was seriously impressed with their apparel, especially the socks. I couldn’t not buy a hat. Huge kudos to their branding and marketing team. Great food, great people, and a great vibe. -

★ 5If you are in the Charleston area and looking for a place that absolutely SLAPS, please go here. It was so good we went TWICE on our girls trip. I got lunch one day and brunch the next. So soooo good. I still dream about it. Alec (who I think was maybe the owner?? manager??) was SO kind. I just so happened to be there on my 30th birthday - which was also Bodega’s 2nd birthday. Alec brought over champagne, juices, and homemade treats (on the house!!) for us to celebrate. Seriously, so generous - we couldn’t stop talking about how nice it was. I can’t recommend this place enough - I wish I could give it 100 stars.

★ 5Bodega in Mt. Pleasant has such a fun, nostalgic vibe. The menu is full of creative comfort food, pb&j pancakes, deep fried French toast, incredible sandwiches and bowls, all of it feels both playful and delicious.
On top of that, they’ve got the best coffee selection around, which makes it just as much a breakfast spot as it is a go-to for lunch. It’s one of those places you leave already thinking about what you’ll try next time. -

★ 3Service was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. There are several gluten free and vegan options. Even with it being on a busy road, it was peaceful sitting on the patio under the tree. I really wanted to like this place but the potatoes in the bowl were very salty and the coffee was bitter. I was with a group of three and everyone agreed. I'm willing to give it another shot and maybe try one of the to-go salads instead.
