Came here for the first time when I was visiting friends in Austin. It was so delicious! I had the sausage and gravy but the definitely could have put more gravy on my biscuit. But it was delicious, the blueberry pancakes were also so delicious! Our server was very nice and attentive! I highly recommend will definitely be back when I’m in Austin

Nice, cozy café with a pleasant, bright interior. Overall a good spot, but the food was a bit disappointing for me. I ordered a sandwich, and it turned out quite dry. Even though it had pesto, the flavor was somehow bland. The bread was very heavily toasted, honestly too hard, which really affected the experience. Unfortunately, I didn’t like the sandwich.

The cappuccino was good, the coffee itself was solid. The place is popular, so it was fairly noisy inside, and the music was quite loud. Service was good though: friendly staff and everything came out quickly. At first, my coffee was served in a chipped cup, but I asked to replace it and they did so right away without any issues

Evie was an amazing waiter. They treated us so kindly from the moment we sat down and made the whole experience feel fun and welcoming. Evie was super knowledgeable about the menu and gave great recommendations that we all ended up loving.

The food and service were both incredible. I had the steak and eggs, my husband had the breakfast platter, my mom had the meatloaf, and my daughter had the kids breakfast platter. Everything came out delicious and exactly how we hoped.

What really stood out to me was how thoughtful they were with my daughter. I asked if they could add whipped cream and sprinkles to make it fun for her, and they absolutely delivered. She was so happy and it made the whole meal even more special for us.

Anytime we are in Austin, we will definitely be back and we will be asking for Evie. Everyone should ask for Evie when you stop by. Evie truly made our experience unforgettable.💖

Kerbey Lane has always been fabulous especially for breakfast and late night dining. I had the Texas Benedict which was a refreshing twist on a Benedict. The cornbrequest. Steak really sets it apart and is smothered in delicious kerbey queso. I've eaten at every location over the years and am a big fan of the South Lamar location due to it's easy accessibility and the fact that is in the same lot as two of my favorite shops. It always blows my mind that I used to rent videos from the blockbuster that used to be in this spot. The old Kerbey was down the street on the opposite side of the road. As busy as they were, the wait wasn't long and we were greeted immediately after seating and our order was on the table in no time. Good service from the host stand to the kitchen, servers, and bus staff.

I ordered the verde mac n cheese with fried chicken and left most of my plate untouched because the mac n cheese tasted too much like cilantro and I don’t eat cilantro, so heads up if you don’t like that as well. The chicken was not to my liking either, it was too whole for me. I tried my friend’s french toast and it was good, and the chilaquiles looked good as well, so maybe it was just that I ordered a not-so-good dish. Service was good, considering the place was packed, but too noisy and crowded for me, so I would try to go during slower hours.
