My wife and I had breakfast at Paperboy South. Though in a busy area, the outside patio (where we sat) was stylishly well-bordered and quiet enough to easily hear table talk.

My wife ordered a Kale Salad and I had a Classic Breakfast. Inside Tip - the $3 upcharge to replace the potato wedges with the Cheddar Hashbrown is well worth it!

My wife loved the Kale Salad - the poached egg and the salad were great. The Classic Breakfast was so tasty. The maple sausage patty was delicious and the toast was thick enough to sop up egg yolks.

Our Server Daniel was excellent. Quick, friendly and informative.

I recommend Paperboy South for anyone's breakfast needs. You won't be disappointed.

I came here today to see what all the buzz was about and it absolutely lived up to the hype. One important tip: do not show up on the weekend without a reservation. We learned this the hard way and waited 45 minutes, which should tell you just how popular this place has become.
We tried their classic breakfast, migas, pancakes, and cheddar hashbrown. The flavors were bold and well-executed, and the presentation was genuinely impressive. What really stood out, though, was how graciously they handled our dietary restrictions and made substitutions as requested.
The service matched the food perfectly.
This has quickly become one of my favorite brunch spots in the city. Just book ahead.

Run, don’t walk to Paperboy. I can’t rave enough about the meal I just had. A truly elevated brunch experience that blew my expectations out of the water. One would have high expectations for the chicken and biscuit — and believe me it did not disappoint — but the ricotta toast and the kale salad were both 5 Star worthy dishes and easily could have been after thoughts.

Not to be outdone, the drinks held their own candle on the meal. Excellent coffee, the toasted cinnamon horchata w/ espresso shot was delightful, but the earl grey cold brew was on another level.

To top it all off, the service was excellent. Our server recommended several dishes to us, all excellent, and then came by to check on us several times throughout the meal. We were there past closing and at no point did we feel rushed or pressured to leave. It was truly a great dining experience.

Had breakfast at Paperboy and it definitely lived up to the hype. The atmosphere was super cozy and welcoming, and we sat outside on the patio which had great vibes and a really relaxed Austin feel.

I ordered the steak and eggs and it was honestly amazing. The steak was cooked perfectly, flavorful, and paired really well with the PERFECTLY cooked eggs. The potatoes and fresh toppings pulled everything together and you could tell a lot of attention went into both the quality and presentation.

Great food plus a great atmosphere always makes for a better experience, and Paperboy delivered on both. Definitely a spot I’d recommend if you’re looking for a good breakfast or brunch in Austin. I’ll definitely be back.

First time at Paperboy and I liked it but didn’t love. I booked a brunch reservation a week out and sat in one of the two-person booths. I do like how the inside is all booths except for the bar. Service was OK but food did come fast. Would definitely return to try more of the menu though!
