It had been a while since my last visit to Brooklyn Street Local, and I’m not sure why I waited so long to come back! Everything was just as good as I remembered.

The hand-cut fries were perfectly crisp, and the fried chicken sandwich was outstanding — a juicy, brined chicken thigh fried to perfection and topped with just the right amount of cabbage slaw, lemon tarragon mayo, and house-made pickles on a soft brioche bun. Every bite was flavorful and well-balanced.

I also loved the locally made kombucha — the perfect refreshing complement to the meal. Can’t wait to return!

One of the best brunch places we’ve ever been to. It will be a wait but it’s so worth it. We waited 45 mins for a table of 4 and ordered coffee at the bar while we waited. Everyone enjoyed their food - the Bloody Mary & quiche were the standouts of the meal. There are servers but there is a QR code on the table for you to order your food from. Highly recommend!

This brunch joint is so quaint and adorable! The wait staff are so friendly and kind. Iesha is one of the sweetest, kindest people we have ever met. If I lived in Detroit I would probably become close friends with her. Nelly was super helpful with guiding us on how to catch the QLine. And I didn’t even talk about the food yet! I ordered the breakfast sandwich with potatoes which were excellent. My husband loved his breakfast platter. He said the banana pancakes were some of the best he’s ever tried. The ingredients are fresh and local — there’s a herb garden right in the patio. On top of that, the prices are beyond reasonable. We would definitely visit again if we are ever in Detroit.

Whenever I order an omelet at a restaurant, I always hope that it comes out of the kitchen looking like this. Their omelets are delicately cooked eggs on the exterior with a hearty portion of high quality.Ingredients on the inside. With a few different poutine options to choose from the poutine was a crowd favorite at our table. They have a full stocked bar.If you're trying to get a little boozy at brunch time as well as cafe options like cappuccinos and lattes.

The service was fantastic everybody was delightful. Also, charming atmosphere for a hip downtown restaurant.

Amazing vegan dishes and baked goods! The vegans in our brunch crew had a lot to choose from.

Joining the wait list on their website made it easy to accommodate a group of six for brunch.

We had a very nice time in the outdoor Dining area. The staff were absolutely amazing!!! Attentive helpful and always checking to make sure you’re enjoying your meal! They had a variety of vegan options to choose from as well as some non vegan items to choose from. We had to share our meal with the bees and yellow jackets, however it was not a problem to share.
I had the Oyster mushroom calamari, a kale quinoa salad a chai tea and 2 sunrise street drinks non-alcoholic.
