Nice vibe. Great art. Cool music Good food. I think they were understaffed, mainly in the kitchen. Our waiter was new, but doing his best, seating, taking orders, making drinks and serving food. We ordered 3 Chesapeake breakfast platters which consisted of fish/shrimp, eggs, potatoes and a biscuit, one person ordered the shrimp tacos. We also added a side of bacon, and a side of cheese grits. We had a great time talking, but we waited over an hour for the food. We received brioche toast instead of the biscuits (which was a big disappointment for my friends because they changed from fish and grits to Chesapeake platter simply because it came with a biscuit) Then were told they ran out of to-go boxes. The food was good but the experience was a let down. We were the only people in the restaurant for at least 30 minutes. There were only 4 of us. I didn't take pictures of the food because I didn't have time for that after the wait. I did use inKind. That discount took a little of the sting out. Hopefully more people will visit and they can justify hiring more help.

First, let me apologize for not uploading a photo. The food was that good. When I eat, I eat.. if you stop by please try the chicken and waffles, blackened salmon and fried grits, fried Mac and cheese bites and the whiting fish sandwich. Yes, I had it all. The vibe, the ambiance, decoration, music, food, drinks and customer service is worth it!!! My new spot here in Baltimore. ❤️❤️❤️😊❤️… I managed to get one😄😄😄

On Thursday, March 5, 2026 I had the pleasure of dinning at this establishment located in the Pigtown section of Baltimore, Maryland when arriving I had no idea what to expect. To be on the safe side, I ordered the chicken wings, OMG as a country boy from the south I grew up eating chicken wings to my delight I’ve never tasted chicken wings like this in my 80 years of life, the wings were served with potato slices that melted in your mouth and a small green salad that complimented the presentation. The atmosphere of this intimate establishment with art surrounding the rustic brick walls radiated the warmth of a relaxing place to be after a long day. This restaurant is classy but not fancy. The chef and owner is warm and personable and gives you the feeling of being home. I strongly recommend you treat yourself and visit the establishment.

I found this brunch place on Groupon for my boyfriend's birthday. The voucher included an entree of $15 and bottomless mimosas. Our reservation was at 1. We got seated at 1:10. The service was extremely slow b/c there was only one waitress. When ordering I was told I could not use my Groupon b/c of what's going on with the CIAA. So I ended up spending money I really didn't have on bottomless mimosas & 2 entrees. The food was amazing , flavorful, & fresh. The atmosphere was Afrocentric & relaxing. The mimosas weren't that great there was no flavor to them I had to ask for flavor but that even took a while to get due to there being one waitress. Hopefully I can use my Groupon next visit. The good thing was the waitress took off the bottomless mimosas b/c we only had one a piece .

My favorite place in Baltimore. The food is delicious and generous, the drinks are soothing and the artwork and music melts all of the day away. Heather and her team are professional, friendly and community minded.
