★ 5Really great service. The food was really great. We tried the Reggie and the Reggie deluxe. Both taste really good. We tried one with sausage gravy and the other with the mushroom gravy, both were good but the mushroom gravy was the best.
We legit came here 2 days in a row! -

★ 4I'd heard about Pine State Biscuits and wanted to give them a try. I was surprised it was busy on a Monday morning before realizing it was MLK day.
I ordered the Moneyball, aka biscuits and gravy with an over easy egg. Choice of sausage or mushroom gravy or half and half gravy. I went traditional sausage gravy. You order and pay at the counter, then take your drink or coffee cup and seat yourself. I went to get my coffee and by the time I got back, my food was waiting for me. Kudos to Pine State for quick service.
When your business has biscuits in its name, they better be damn good. Pine State did not disappoint. The biscuit was split in two, light and fluffy with just a hint of butter. The gravy was delicious and was cooked perfectly.
My Iowa born mother used to make biscuits and gravy for Christmas breakfast that was legendary in my neighborhood growing up, and a very high bar to compare to. With that being said, Pine State's biscuits and gravy was nearly like mom's and took me back to simpler times.
The staff was friendly, hustling orders, with one even taking time to open the creamer thermos some ape had tighten down way too tight. Overall, great food and service with decent prices. -

★ 5Biscuit was good. Sausage gravy was the star. Wish they put more on it. Chicken was meh. Nothing to spectacular. But overall good experience

★ 4Great atmosphere, great vibes with great 90’s R&B music. Workers were super nice and polite. This restaurant wants you to order first and then sit. They give you a number and get your own utensils. I ordered the Reggie Deluxe and it was delicious. My only gripe was the chicken was a bit on the dry side to my liking. The mushroom gravy and the biscuit was top notch though. If you’re in town, do stop by and have breakfast here.

★ 5Pine State never disappoints. My only criticism is I can’t bring myself to order anything but the Double Down ( two biscuits covered with sausage gravy and topped with two eggs).
My daughter got the pulled pork and my wife and son each got the chicken biscuit. Everything was very good and this location has a fairly large dining room. I’ve seen lines at this location, but they keep it moving fast and there were always plenty of tables. There is outdoor seating when the weather is nice.
