The Sycamore Kitchen was a great brunch stop with solid flavors and a relaxed vibe.
We ordered the chilaquiles, avocado toast, and falafel bowl — all well-balanced and thoughtfully done.
The chilaquiles were comforting and bold without being heavy.
Avocado toast was fresh, simple, and elevated.
The falafel bowl was hearty and flavorful.
The rosemary coffee was the standout — unique, aromatic, and memorable.

I’m very concerned that on the day we visited, the kitchen ran out of salt/spices and general flavor to add to their food - especially given all the reviews. We ordered the turkey sandwich + bacon and the falafel bowl + chicken and both dishes were absolutely inedible. The falafel bowl tasted the way beige paint looks. I kept thinking there would be flavor somewhere but not even the tahini could save this, and the falafel tasted like cardboard mush. The turkey sandwich was gamey and flavorless - something not even bacon can save. We spend $70 on the sandwich, the bowl and two pastries after tax + tip. We ended up leaving after eating less than %10 of our food. Beware! Never to return!

I have been eating here multiple times a week for the past month plus and this place is awesome. I don’t love counter only service, but it works as a mostly coffee and pastry stop plus they have a lovely large front patio if you stay. All of the pastries are to die for, amazing Stumptown coffee, I love the salmon toast and the pork belly hash- wouldn’t get the chilaquiles again. All in all great place! Try the chocolate banana bread and the chop salad!

Absolutely loved this place! What a beautiful space!! And to have such an amazing selection of delicious food too? The staff was super friendly and patient even with the pressure of a long line, I felt very safe with my food allergies. And the food was really really good. Totally could eat here every morning!
