I was born in Los Angeles and I’ve never tasted a breakfast sandwich like this! I ended up at this place by chance as I drove to trejos donuts for a breakfast burrito but when I got there I was told they no longer sell breakfast burrito. So I googled the next best thing which was literally next door. I won’t lie I was skeptical since it’s a tiny place on the corner but I was starving and didn’t want to drive around in Los Angeles, as I h8t e traffic. I ordered the OG Sandwich without bacon. And WOW! The sandwich looks SIMPLE but oh my! The sauce brings out ALL THE FLAVOR! I Will definitely come back here EVERY TIME IM CRAVING BREAKFAST! I’ve been to egg tuck and it can’t compete! The price is much more reasonable and like I said the sandwich was DELICIOUS! The service was welcoming. Will return!

    No-fuss spot.

I had read about this concept since the pandemic and there was always a lot of hype around it. I don't think it met the hype, but I still think it is worth your time.

At this point, I've had the regular sandwich & the biscuit version. Both with bacon. I added pimento cheese to The biscuit. The biscuit was more worth it for me, but both were good. Comes with a sauce that tastes to me like syrup+Tabasco. It is fine but overwhelming imo.

My main issue is that everything is like 3-5 dollars more expensive than I'd like it to be. It hasn't stopped me from going there twice now but it is a small pain point.

Calabama is an easy five stars for me. The sandwiches are the clear standout. Big flavors, well-balanced, and made with care. Nothing feels overworked or gimmicky. Just really good food done right. Every bite delivers, and it’s the kind of place you keep thinking about after you leave. If you like unique breakfast sandwiches, this spot is a no-brainer.

This place is AMAZING!! My family is from Alabama so my opinion should carry weight🤣😉!! Bacon, egg, and cheese sandwiches are a staple for my family, have been for years. This sandwich is the best one I have ever eaten. The sauce is like nothing I've ever had before. Customer service was exceptional! Calabama being a mile from my house is AMAZING!!!

Had the OG sandwich with egg, bacon, avocado, and grilled onions and it absolutely delivered. The dipping sauce? Straight dope.🔥nnHad to get a biscuit on the side with pimento cheese and that alone could be a reason to come back.

Washed it all down with a Mexican Coke… yeah, that combo is pure goldnnDefinitely coming back.
