★ 5Stopped here after working a tradeshow at the LA Convention Center and it was exactly what I needed. I ordered the fried chicken and waffle sandwich and it was incredible — perfectly crispy chicken with the sweet waffle combo that just works.
What really made the place stand out though was the whole experience. The staff were genuinely friendly, the music was great, and the atmosphere was awesome. I especially loved the corrugated steel ceiling — it gave the space a really cool vibe.
If you’re near downtown LA or coming from the convention center and craving a real breakfast, this place is absolutely worth the trip. -

★ 5Great place for chicken and waffles! The waffles were light and fluffy, and the chicken was crispy and juicy. The burger was enough for two! The brioche was nice and crispy, the burger also came with a side of coleslaw and salad. The pulled pork hash had this really cool hashbrown that was shaped like a cube. It was cool though, because the outside was crispy but the inside was soft and fluffy. They were friendly and welcoming, but the place was busy. Overall, would come back to this place!

★ 5The building is super cute and the food is phenomenal! We loved the atmosphere too, it's busy but also chill. Great place in downtown! We parked around the corner in a public lot for 5 bucks, only had to walk about a half block.

★ 4Enjoyed a friend’s birthday brunch at Poppy + Rose! Accommodated a group of 9 (we called ahead). The staff was super friendly & gave us great suggestions. Everyone had something different and everyone loved the food!
Would recommend for a Saturday/Sunday brunch with a city stroll to follow (you WILL be full!) -

★ 4Nice neighborhood breakfast spot. Service was a little slow but I think that’s because they only had two waiters. Our waitress Kayla was awesome at managing what she could and was very hospitable. The food was pretty good. I thought the crab cake Benedict should have had more crab. All of the other flavors masked the taste of the crab unfortunately. The fries were delicious and so was the fried chicken.
