★ 4This restaurant has extensive menu, we ordered the PJ’s Sweet Flight which truly lives up to the hype. The pancake and French toast selection was incredibly delicious—each bite fluffy, rich, and perfectly balanced in sweetness. The classic eggs Benedict was just as satisfying, with well-poached eggs and a smooth, flavorful hollandaise that brought the dish together beautifully.
Beyond the food itself, the overall experience felt effortlessly enjoyable. The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting, though a little bit noisy and everything—from the timing of the dishes to the attentiveness of the staff—came together seamlessly. It’s a spot that makes brunch feel like something to slow down and savor. -

★ 5First time at plain Jane and it was a wonderful experience. Drove all the way from Vacaville for breakfast, walking into the restaurant the atmosphere is calm and warm and friendly. Got greeted by staff right away and sat in under 1 min. Sat at the table for about 10 min before our orders got taken and then waited around at her 15-20 for our food. Bit longer than I would like to wait when the restaurant wasn’t busy but the food made it worth it. Food came out hot and perfect presentation was perfect. The shrimp and grits was nice and rich plenty of shrimp and a good sausage. The only thing that could have been better was for the grits to be seasoned a bit more. The bathroom was very clean and nicely maintained. 10/10 experience and worth the drive.

★ 5This is hands-down my favorite breakfast spot in all of SF. Everything is consistently superb, from the ingredients to the execution. My go-to order is the Big Jane’s Plate. The scrambled eggs are perfectly fluffy and moist, and the potatoes are seasoned just right with that fresh-out-of-the-oven crunch. And the coconut rice pancakes? Unreal. So fluffy and nutty, easily the best pancakes I’ve ever had. Will be going back on a weekly basis!

★ 4Great menu, lots to sort through. Tables are small and few. Loved that the server was honest. They did it up with the shrimp on my Benedict. I was just happy to be there. His was not really as expected.

★ 5Ordered a coffee (not the greatest) and went with the Monte Cristo sandwich with greens on the side, which was a great choice. The greens were very fresh and the balsamic was excellent. Whenever a MC is on a menu, I always order one. This place has by-far the best in The Bay.
My husband ordered a Bloody Mary that tasted very fresh, and the accoutrements were wonderful. He also enjoyed the duck hash with potatoes. One small note: the potatoes could benefit from a light herby finish to elevate the flavor, but overall the dish was enjoyable.
