This is a pretty good coffee place off Queen Anne. It was very crowded when we went, so not a lot of seating and we had to stand for a while. Good sign that it’s crowded. The coffee was good, but I’m not sure I would call it amazing. The place is in a good location and they have indoor and outdoor seating. The layout was nice and the staff was friendly.

Completely Disappointed.GET YOUR ACT TOGETHERnnI’ve been to the SLU location and the one time I come to Queen Anne there was NO HOSPITALITY. 2 Ladies (one with short hair and other with Circle Tattoo on right arm)nnPurchased 3 eggs. 1 came with cheese which was not disclosed when purchased. Then waited 35 minutes for the “cook” to make 2 eggs and each time FOOD WAS COLD. “oh sorry our cook was from another location”. Let’s not forget they were not busy at all. 2 other people were complaining as well because the service and attitude was DISGUSTING. NEVER have I received this from other coffee stores I go to frequently. Because they know me by face and are very kind to their guests. Someone could have gotten an ALLERGIC REACTION WHICH WOULD LEAD TO A LAWSUIT!

cafe Hagan needs to get their ACT TOGETHER! Pay those bill because having NO HEATER at the early ours is CRUEL! And I never got a call back! LADY ONLY ROLLED HER EYES AT ME and didn’t help the customer.

Love the ambience and decoration of this obviously Euro-Vibe cafe. Food is pretty good. A bit on the pricey side (but what isn't in this infernal city at this point.) I've been the Bellevue location which is super spacious and great for sitting and getting work done. This location is great a nice weathered day to be outside and enjoy good little cafe bites.

The chocolate chip cookie is awesome and give it a solid 8/10.

The breakfast bun is good at 7/10 as well. Both times came out a little hot so I had to let it cool down before eating. (Figured I'd write this review while doing so!)nnThe raspberry filled croissant was so unique, but I split it with others because it's too much for just me in the sugar department. 8/10.

The coffee - Iced Mocha and Iced White Mocha are good at a 7/10. Maybe more coffee-centric people would say more or less.

The service is awesome. Staff has been friendly and polite at both locations I visited.

Definitely visit one of their many locations!

    8/10⭐

Great flavors. More like $20 minimum when ordering just food. However, there is a VERY aggressive no computer policy at certain tables (even though the cafe is not full?). It's hard to realize which tables are off limits and thus patrons are met with aggressive action from staff (so make sure you fully understand where you are about to sit down).

I would have been ok with the computer policy, but it is NOT uniformly enforced. On my way out, I saw others in the exact same spot with their computers open....

If you are looking to get work done on a computer, I would recommend any other coffee shop in Queen Anne.

I’m genuinely disappointed writing this because I usually love this place, but my experience on Monday morning was not it.

The two employees working were not hospitable at all and were abnormally loud the entire time. They were goofing around, chitchatting, and laughing extremely loudly about random things—multiple times—while customers were clearly trying to sit, work, or enjoy a quiet coffee. It was distracting, unprofessional, and honestly uncomfortable.

I don’t normally leave negative reviews, but I’ve never seen behavior like this in a coffee shop before. Read the room. People come here to work, meet, or decompress—not to be part of the staff’s morning hangout.

My coffee was fine, and I didn’t try the food, so I can’t speak to that. But the service alone was enough to make me not want to return to this location. It’s especially disappointing because I’ve always enjoyed Cafe Hagen.

I’ll be sticking to the SLU location from now on. Hoping management addresses this, because the vibe and experience matter just as much as the coffee.
