★ 4First time going. The service was amazing! From the time you walk in till the time you leave the staff was friendly, accommodating, helpful and supportive of their coworkers. I'm guessing the owners may have been assisting as well. If not it was management. The entire staff pitched in, there was no lack or slack. You won't see anyone just standing, every one had motion and it worked well. The restaurant was clean and the customers even interacted with one another, gave it a nice welcoming environment. The food was pretty good, I had the pancakes and side of bacon. I wasn't a fan of the peppered bacon but the family enjoyed it. My son had the burger and it was pretty tasty. My mom had the BLT, the tomatoe slices were nice and thick, I just ate them off my son burger and my mom's BLT they didn't mind LOL. Overall we enjoyed the visit and the food and will go back when on that side of town. Oh the wait when we arrived was minimal, but as we were leaving there was a bit of a line.

★ 5Guy Fieri definitely put us on with this one 🔥🍳nnWe first saw this downtown Phoenix breakfast spot on YouTube when it was a tiny location — and now it’s fully expanded and remodeled. The space is beautiful with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. We went on a Monday morning and it was still busy, but not so packed that we couldn’t sit and enjoy our meal.
Everything we ordered was so good. The homemade lemonade honey drink? Unreal. I had the Big Papa Burrito st■ with chorizo, potatoes, egg, and cheese in a fresh flour tortilla made right here in Phoenix — flavorful, filling, and worth every bite.
Bonus points for carrying Arizona-based Gunslinger hot sauce, but their house-made hot sauce was my favorite. And the pancakes were fluffy and delicious.
Great food, great energy, and reasonably priced. A solid downtown Phoenix breakfast spot. 🔥 -

★ 4Great food Great metro feeling atmosphere. The servers work as a team so someone is constantly glncing to see if you need simething without being intrusive. Rush times dont seem to be their preference though. Not preferred as a place for small children but definatley for a group of adults or teenagers. No kids menu, pricing or portions

★ 5In new lovely location right next door to old restaurant with variety of seating options…. wonderful menu with good food and great service. Eggs were cooked a little hard, but chicken sausage was tasty and hash browns delicious. Seasoned well and crispy. Will definitely return when in Phoenix.

★ 5THE REAL DEAL! Matt's Big Breakfast in downtown Phoenix is WHERE IT'S AT! I got the Sunday special steak and eggs, and man... it was BOMB! The steak was cooked to perfection, and those eggs... ugh, don't even get me started! I added a side of their thick bacon, and oh man, it was the perfect combo of crispy and chewy. And don't forget the hop and chick .. it was so good! I also got a single griddlecake on the side, and it was fluffy and sweet.
Now, let's talk about the service . TOP-NOTCH! Our servers were attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was just right. If you're in the area , i must try ..! Lives up to the hype, and I'm coming back for more!
