★ 4This is such a nice brunch spot. I especially loved that we had a semi private room, like a hideout, for my friends birthday. The chicken pasta was a large portion and great as leftovers. I had the chicken and funnel cake. It was the perfect blend of sweet and salty. Would definitely recommend to give this place a try.

★ 3It was OKAY, I probably will not be back. The mimosas were the best thing I had. Great flavor and very strong. I had the chicken and funnel cake entree and it was disappointing. The chicken had ZERO flavor and the funnel cake was alright. The breakfast tacos were pretty good. The atmosphere is very pretty and it wasn’t too loud with the music. I would say 4/10

★ 4We stopped by The Honey Hole Bistro & Brunch Bar in Houston! The wait was about an hour and 45 minutes, but honestly, the vibe made up for the long wait— the place is gorgeous and so aesthetically pleasing.
Service was good. Our waitress brought water right away, though she didn’t offer other drink options and only refilled our glasses when we asked.
The DJ was amazing!
Now, the food — so good! The portions were generous, the catfish and fried chicken wings were seasoned to perfection, the pork chops were tender and juicy, and those fried potatoes were crispy and flavorful. The breakfast tacos were okay.
Overall, we really enjoyed it — great food, good service, and a clean, comfy atmosphere. -

★ 4I stopped by The Honey Hole Bistro & Brunch Bar in Houston and was really impressed! The place was spotless, the ambience was warm and inviting, and the fish tank added a nice, relaxing touch to the overall vibe.
The service was excellent—attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was just right. We started off with complimentary biscuits that were soft, sweet, and fresh out of the oven—such a nice touch!
The grits came in a generous portion and were topped with a perfectly seasoned catfish that was packed with flavor. The crab gravy was refreshing and added a unique twist. The pork chops were seasoned like something out of a master chef’s kitchen—tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The fried potatoes were absolutely divine—crispy and well-seasoned.
I did ask for my cheese to be cooked into my eggs rather than placed on top, but it came out the other way. Still good, but a bit heavy on the egg whites for my liking. The drinks were cool, refreshing, and a great complement to the meal.
Overall, I really enjoyed my visit. Great service, delicious food, and a clean, comfortable setting. I’ll definitely be back!
Rating: 8/10 – Highly recommend for brunch lovers looking for good vibes and great flavors. -

★ 5Beautiful restaurant with amazing food! I had the catfish and grits and it was okay. The sauce on it wasn’t my favorite but it was not bad and the grits and catfish were perfect.
But The Hivewich is amazing and the fries are soooo good. Daria Amare me a Well Margarita and it was delicious I came back two days in a row considering this. Overall I’d say it’s a must if you’re in Houston! Please know they get busy though. I went as soon as they opened at 9 am to avoid crowds by 11 am there was a line. I’d also say they’re a lil pricey but worth it
