★ 2This café is in a great spot on campus, but the overall experience fell short. The atmosphere was quite noisy, and staff repeatedly shouted out orders at a volume that was surprisingly loud and disruptive. Unfortunately, it made it difficult to enjoy the space.

★ 5I absolutely love Dandelion Café near Rice University. It has such a chill, friendly vibe, and the food is always spot‑on. Their egg salad sandwich is my go‑to — super fresh, perfectly seasoned, and honestly one of the best versions I’ve had anywhere. Their lattes are always smooth, and I usually grab a pastry because they’re impossible to resist.
The staff is warm and welcoming, and it’s just an easy place to relax or catch up with friends. Definitely one of my favorite breakfast and lunch spots in the area. Highly recommend! -

★ 5This cafe was fantabulous. Entire staff was so nice, friendly & smiles. SOO attentive & accommodating.
Kevin was very energetic & on top of it making sure we knew what was all on the menu. They were out of a food option for my meal & was so quick to fix it.
Lovely place Lovely people. & it was nice enough to be able to sit outside today! -

★ 4The Dandelion cafe is located inside the O’Connor Building for Engineering and Science at Rice University. They’re closed on the weekends because most customers are students, faculty, and university staff. I have come here multiple times, sometimes just to work. As a visitor, the best place to park would be Founder’s Court (search Google for Rice University campus map) with a few minute walk. Quite honestly, I don’t find Dandelion coffee great (I recommend CoffeeHouse or Audrey’s, also on campus, instead). Dandelion is still developing their menu, so there are other types of drinks that could be worth trying! The prices are a bit high, but the food is good! My pictures give a pretty good representation of what the place looks like at noon (busiest). If you’re visiting Rice University, definitely come see Dandelion and the new, beautiful building it is within (there is art to see).

★ 5Crystal at Dandelion was an absolute treat to work with. We had a last minute need to cater for some corporate events - she was the only one out of many companies that I had reached out to in the Houston area to get some last minute catering. She was more than accommodating and the most friendly person ever. She went above and beyond to deliver, meet me at locations, and be sure that our events were a success. The breakfast tacos were talked about all day. I absolutely one million percent recommend working with her.
