  A hidden gem worth visiting!
  
  I stopped by Gold Coast Café and was so pleasantly surprised. The strawberry and banana matcha combo was absolutely delicious — perfectly balanced and refreshing. The banana mousse was to die for — creamy, light, and not overly sweet or artificial (just the right hint of banana).
  
  For my palate, the lemon mousse leaned a bit more on the custardy side and could’ve used a touch more tartness to lift it, but overall everything was beautifully presented and thoughtfully made.
  
  Cozy atmosphere, friendly vibe, and gorgeous plating — definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area!

  Hi, from Oklahoma! We stopped in for the mousse fruit desserts. My daughter tried the apple and mango and I tried the pineapple and mango. Deanna was so sweet and helpful! She knows a lot about the food! They were so rich and sweet and full of flavor.
  
  The vibe was very cozy and calm.
  
  Thank you for your time and your very clear, love of baking. If we ever visit Chicago again, we will be back!! ♥️

  Very disappointed tried it after seeing an Instagram reel on my feed. Mango - the filing is ok, cake is mid, chocolate cover is good. As for the strawberry it was 80% cake 20% jam that was bland and was not sweet. I would not recommend. Thank you for your time!

  Gold Coast Cafe is such a cozy and welcoming spot with a great local vibe. The coffee is rich and flavorful, and their pastries taste fresh and homemade. The staff is always friendly and makes you feel right at home, even during busy hours. It’s the perfect place to relax, enjoy good coffee, and watch the city go by.

  The Dubai chocolate croissant was perfect! Crunchy, flaky, tasty but not too sweet! To die for!!! I will be back (from Texas)! Service was also great and the girl was very helpful going over each item.
